Bledug Kuwu, The Mud Volcanoes

Bledug Kuwu

Bledug Kuwu is a name of a mud volcanoes located at Kuwu Village, Kradenan City, Purwodadi Grobogan, Central Java. It's a natural phenomenon that also happen in Palo Seco, Republic of Trinidad ∓ Tobago, Africa.

You can reach this place from various place. For example, if you want to reach this place from Solo or Semarang (both have the same distances), it took 2 hours (64km) to reach Purwodadi. And from Purwodadi to Bledug Kuwu, it took another 1.5 hour (40km).

Never forget to put sun-block cream onto your skin because this area is an open ground, sun spot on you directly. You'll feel like you're in a desert, but there's no sands. For your convenience, you can rent umbrellas there.
